Having now obtained reliable lap speed figures for the streamline Bentley for Mr. Fedden, we are now in a position to formulate a new series of investigations. This car did a lap speed of 93.4. m.p.h., with internal dimensions the same as the standard Saloon. Messrs. Park Ward & Co., will make us an 8th scale model of this car. (1) Verify the 'K' of our car. (2) Measure 'K' of Feddon's car. (3) Measure tail lift of both cars. (4) Try various modifications to Mr. Fedden's car invented by Gurney Nutting and ourselves, to still more improve the value of 'K', and enhance the appearance. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
