- 2 - At the same time, the total energy in the spark is considerably less in the Scintilla than the Watford, with the result that we should have a considerably reduced margin of safety if we used the Scintilla, when plugs become dirty in service. One further point in regard to the Scintilla is that no considered design is available at the moment for fitting same to chassis, from West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. The Scintilla magneto which has been fitted has only been roughly fitted at the works, and the design is not such as to be usable in production. | ||
