X3889 To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Extract from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG15.11.20. X.3918. RE VISIT TO AMERICA. X.3764. X.3888/9. The R.R. Petrol Level Indicator is working very nicely; it is possible to read it from 1 gallon, also the arrangement for the reserve tank appears to be satisfactory. We have not been able to obtain sylphon tubes for this fitting so are using the alternative - fibre washers. We received some stock-size sylphon tubes from America but they were much too large to suit our fitting. X.4172. The new wiring arrangement gives a very neat appearance and is very accessible for fuses. | ||
