To bring the front axle lubrication in with the one shot lubrication scheme. Experimental Test Report. Fitted to 18.G.IV. The lay out is satisfactory and brings the lubrication under the one shot scheme. Road Test Report. Fitted to 18.G.IV. and ran 10,000 miles. The front axle mechanism has been amply lubricated There has been no trouble with the arrangement. Box X is ticked: A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis. X No. X.3806.
