1305 Experimental Dept. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Les.9/JH. 16th February, 1937. Messrs. Marconi-Ekco Instruments Ltd., Electra House, Victoria Embankment, LONDON.W.C.2. For the attention of Mr. Perkins. Dear Sirs, With regard to your letter of the 11th instant, we considered your particulars for an apparatus for load measurement to be far too complicated for our requirements. We are more keen on getting quick results than spending time playing with expensive apparatus. If at any time you come across a really simple foolproof load measuring apparatus we should like to have particulars, but we have no intention of spending a lot of time and money developing a large piece of apparatus. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
