acceleration and the different inlet toe this gives a slightly greater overlap leakage between the valves at running clearance than 18½° on the B.60 camshaft Ex.33975.

114½° gives 26° negative overlap and the camshaft should be a superlative slow runner.

HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/Buckler has informed Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} that the "Monicrom" manufacturers have declined the order because they are busy and also because their previous dealings with R.R. have failed to produce extensive business.

Therefore, the first camshafts will have to be ordered in our usual Nickel steel material.

The steel journals running direct in the C.I. crankcase without Vandervell bearings, should still be used.
