Anti-Squeak Front Brake Shoes.

With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/MJ14.4.31. kindly note that six sets of the anti-squeak brake device (Hancock type) have been fitted to cars in the R.D. These are as follows :-

Chassis No. Owner's name. Approximate date fitted.
34-EH. Hartman. During first week October, 1930.
98-WR. Leven. End of January, 1931.
68-KR. Hime. Mid-October, 1930.
8-XJ. Langstaff. End November, 1930.
68-WJ. Worthington. End January, 1931.
199-XJ. Collins. End March, 1931.

Since the device was fitted to the above Cars we have not received any further complaint of squeaking trouble.
