| To BM. Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Handwritten annotation: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x vHO E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/MN.18.3.35. Bentley Independently Mounted Wings and Radiator. We send herewith LeC 4403 showing a brace across the back of the radiator frame behind the matrix. This takes the place of the attachment of the frame to the side of the matrix, by means of a brass member sweated to the latter. We felt that there was a danger in attaching the frame to the matrix. An advance print of this was supplied to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} and this scheme has been fitted to the car for the 10,000 miles test, 5 BIV. Att: LeC 4403. | ||
