FRAME TRANSMISSION & SPRINGS. Herewith is PD.93, Frame Transmission and Springs for Bentley 50, and a copy of Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/N.26.1.38. The frame can be detailed and also the rear springs from this. The steering can be laid out and also the exhaust system and propeller shaft, which differ from B.lll in length. The rear axle, being the same as B.lll including the 10/43 ratio, can be instructed, as also the wheels, petrol tank and battery & box. A decision as to whether the dash is cast or sheet is required, and this will affect the side spare wheel carrier and steering support. The above refers particularly to the first B.50 car, but the items, except the rear axle and wheels will also apply to further B.50 cars. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} CS | ||
