Please receive herewith the following scheme :- F.CD.1350 Wiring Conduits on engine side of the dashboard. The above scheme shews the engine side of the dashboard with the positions of the cut-out and the distribution board reversed to that shewn on B.5. This is due to the narrower straight Rolls-Royce type bonnet sides required on 'Ripple' fouling the cut-out cover. Will you please therefore urge this scheme for use on Bentley 5, in order that the dashboard punching tools can be common to all dashboards, that is, Bentley 5, Bentley 50, Wraith 80 and Silver Ripple etc. Please instruct experimentally and for 50 sets for Bentley 5. It is important to get this scheme on 11.B.5. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} File | ||
