(3) Armature with frayed edges causes knocks. A 1/32" smaller dia. of the armature would be a help.

(4) Too weak a recoil spring of the contacts causes knocks and can be cured by bowing the blade ends outwards.

Leaks.

(1) Diaphragms not tightened up, nuts loose.

(2) Diaphragm not tight between armature and brass plate on spindle (2 complaints here).

Faulty Connections.

The long 2-B-A screw has not got the thread screwed down far enough which leaves the nut tight but the screw loose (holding the cover on and main Connection).

Taking the pump position, S.U's require livening up to these facts.
