The latter represents the resultant & exciting forces which,
if small when compared with the stiction in the damper,
may not be capable of freeing the damper surfaces.

If you have no success with either of the materials
I have referred to, might I suggest you vary the kinetic
value of your damper rings and/or the strength of the
compression springs?

If there is anything else I can do please do not
