TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC. } FROM AJS. C.C. to - BJ. HB.{C. E. Harcombe} ORIGINAL RECEIVED JAN 13 1927 AJS3/M11.1.27. PHANTOM STARTER MOTOR 13:1 REDUCTION. X.2635 We send herewith (to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}) LeC. 2365. - Main Field Windings of above. We have found that .250 additional length is required on carcase, but if this can be reduced by squeezing the windings together will you please see that it is carried out this way. We understand our winder in Derby has suggested that the thick section main conductor could be split to facilitate winding. We should be glad if you would set this out for the Exp. Dept., using not less than the same area of copper, and same connections as shewn on LeC. 2365. AJS. | ||
