For the attention of Mr.H.T.Barker.

Dear Sir,

Confirming our telephone conversation, we have today returned to you one 11A3 clutch. Will you please change the clutch springs, fitting green ones instead of those in at present.

Will you also please rebalance the pressure plate according to the improved method. Since our conversation a failure of an 11" clutch has been reported on an engine doing high speed endurance running similar to the previous cases. We will give you further particulars of this when they are to hand.

Since we wish to replace the broken clutch by the one you are modifying we should be glad to have it back as quickly as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
