In reply to Sft{Mr Swift}3/MW.10.1.35. We have now received adequate quantities of rubber pads F.60517 and F.60399A. With regard to F.60398, 11 have been received today and a further 25 are in transit. The delay in ordering was at the request of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie}, as the Expl. Dept. wished to satisfy themselves that production chassis for 'F2' Series were quite satisfactory. Final release by Expl. Dept. was not given until 3rd inst. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
