10.G.3 LATE EXPERIMENTAL.

It has now been definitely decided not to allocate this chassis to the School but to offer it for sale, and we should like to get it to London just as soon as we can.

Are you able to say when it will be ready for despatch?

Will you also kindly confirm that there is available the original Cabriolet body. In August of last year Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} offered us a Barker Cabriolet body which he told us had been removed from 10.G.3. We accepted it; had it mounted on chassis GX-44 and the complete car is now running about.

It is possible, of course, that there were two Cabriolet bodies ordered for this chassis No. 10.G.3. but we doubt it.

If you find that there has been some confusion in regard to the body and that a Cabriolet Body is not available, perhaps you will ascertain from the Experimental Department whether they have another body in reasonably decent condition which they do not want and which could be mounted on the chassis.

We recently supplied them with a Park Ward Weymann Saloon for chassis No. 17.U-4. We believe this Weymann was to replace a Hooper body which had been condemned as being too heavy for experimental purposes. Possibly we could have the Hooper body.
