Dear Sirs,

Boyce Electric Clock No.696.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of yours ref. MMW/PG. of the 12th inst. and have duly noted your remarks regarding your observations of the internal mechanism of the clock. We have this morning received your further letter to the effect that this clock is now being returned to us after having been exhaustively tested.

Had there not been, for the reason of change of office accommodation of the undersigned, some delay in replying to your letter of the 12th inst. we had intended to suggest that you retained this clock for a further period in order to make absolutely sure of its correct functioning, the reason at this end being that owing to the increase of diameter of the clock and the setting for it in the instrument plate, we are not yet able to put these clocks on experimental cars for test.

For the same reason our answer to your query as to whether we would like an additional clock is for the present in the negative.

Will Boyce Motor Accessories please note that we duly received their letters DH{D. Henderson - Showroom}/DW. of the 12th and 15th inst.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
