This machine is now being handed back to the Test Dept.. Its output characteristics are similar to those of P.6.KM. machine, referred to in our EFC6/T8.3.27. There is a big loss of cutting-in speed in these two machines, and we consider it makes the loss of output in the early stages undesirably large, as if the modification has been rather overdone, because in the 40/50 machines with single modification which we have recently tested the cutting-in points have been affected to a much less degree than in the case of the 20 HP.
