20 HP. CHASSIS DYNAMOS.

With reference to the 20 HP. chassis dynamos which are too noisy and do not pass our usual standard, EFC. has agreed with us that until we are able to definitely include the modifications which he has in hand experimentally, on all production dynamos, to eliminate this difficulty, we should, for the present, correct these dynamos by modifying the pole pieces and resetting the control brushes, therefore will MX.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} please arrange for any dynamos which are not satisfactory to be returned to Mr. Brock for modification, and Mr. Brock will return these to the Test Dept. If these dynamos are then satisfactory, MX.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} will arrange to let EFC. check a certain percentage for output.
