We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy the original of PL.523, Sealing Washers on Accelerator Pedal. The above scheme shows the addition of sealing washers to the Oilite bushes in the accelerator pedal bearing shaft. Whilst doing this scheme, we have decided to butt weld the throttle operating lever to the pedal shaft. It may finally be found necessary to make the accelerator pad detachable from the stem and not the pedal lever, as at present, to assist in assembly. This will be decided when Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. has completed the design of the front body mounting. However, for the first car, we propose to leave the design of the accelerator pedal as shown on PL.516 and PL.523. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J.
