To EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} from R. {Sir Henry Royce}             R1/M14.10.22.

X.1815. RE CUTOUT FOR W W
X.4215.

I intend you to make up an RR. cutout but I
am not particular whether it is a R-R or a Bleriot-Phi,
the latter fits the space and if you want to use one up
by revising for me new voltage - 24/30 I shall be quite
pleased.

If you have to get a new one and revise,it, it
will be better to mount a R-R on a suitable base (as small
as possible) because it will be an opportunity of testing
its lasting qualities, though you ought to do this better
at Derby, getting in hundreds of contacts to my one,
but all the same my place would test if time or corrosion
would cause failure near the sea it is trying fbr copper
and contacts.
