No.5. TEST HOUSE.

This memo is to confirm that you will refit the existing dynamometer DPX.4 (B.11310) which is working satisfactorily on the Ph.III. bed during the renovation of the above test house.

The dynamometer DPX.4. (B.17860) which was sent away to the makers for overhaul and has been returned to the Works again, to be sent to Shardlow for storage as a spare. Having a spare in good condition is extremely useful in cases of service brake failure and avoids any long hold up.
