Messrs Luvax Ltd,
Warple Way,
Acton,
London. W.3.

For the attention of Mr.P. Douglas.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 8th Feb.

We mentioned to your Mr.Green that we were now running loads up to 150 lbs. on the ball pin and we anticipated that the length of lever required would be about 7 - 8". Under these conditions we consider that the shaft shown on your shock absorbers would deflect excessively, thereby nullifying the effectiveness of the shock absorbers over short movement, and he agreed to carry out some tests to determine what actual deflection was likely to take place. We should like to have these figures before we test the shock absorbers.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
