1328 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.6/NH. 14th. December 1937. Messrs. S.Smith & Sons, Ltd., Cricklewood Works, London, N.W.2. For the attention of Mr. Haviland, Works Manager. Dear Mr. Haviland, As promised during our discussion yesterday, I am despatching you to-day one American thermostat with sweated up diaphragm type bellows. This is a fairly old unit but typifies the construction which I mentioned. Should you decide to do anything with this type of construction I shall be interested to hear how you get on with it. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for the interesting tour round your production lines etc. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
