X470 Exptl. Dept. Ha/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW. 5th July, 1934. Messrs. Rudge-Whitworth Limited, COVENTRY. For the attention of MR. Hack. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 4th July. The engine has arrived. We are unfortunately held up at the moment owing to having no Heenan & Froude brake small enough to test the engine. It is a surprising fact but Messrs. Heenan & Froude have had to make a brake specially for us having none of the particular type in stock. It looks as if we shall not get any results from this unit for about three weeks or a month. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
