We recommend that a Depot Sheet should be made showing the correct clearance etc. and that all cars from about ~~P.S~~ N.2. series onwards be checked as they become available (as we have had practically no trouble prior to this series). Also other cars which have starter motor complaint, or the starter motor is dismantled. We think also BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} may consider the possibility of increasing the travel of the armature before contact is made with the main switch or reduce the amount of the pinion rebound.
