Status of several Watford Aero Magnetos and inquiring about their return for correction.

| X4021 To Mr. Wilkins (A.I.D.) from EFC. EFC2/T29.3.27. WATFORD AERO MAGNETOS. Are we yet in a position to be able to return any of these magnetos to Mr. North as he has requested ? At present only one of these magnetos is completely right., the present position being :- No.83119 - O.K. on X.F.12. 83120 - In Expl. Lab. with broken contact spring. 83132.- Bad performance in advanced position. 83133 - " " " 83134 - on XF.12 but with old type axial distributor. 83135 - Old type axial distributor. 83136 - Old type bakelite radial distributor. Contact points burnt away. 83137.- Old type bakelite radial distributor. It will be seen that there is one reason or another for all of these to be returned for correction with the exception of No.83119. Would you let us know if we are now able to do this. EFC. | ||
