You will note I have suggested a volt-drop reading on cut-out series circuit and 15 ampere test in place of 10. The figure of .35 volt is derived from what I found on some of the six trials car units which were about .325 volt. Most of the drop (about .25 volt) occurs in the series winding so that .35 total may be allowing too much at the points. Further tests may be necessary to settle the value. FJA. | ||
