Serious fault with new Lucas headlamps on a Phantom III, specifically fluttering dipping reflectors.

New Type Lucas Head Lamps. Fitted with Marchal Bulbs. These are as good as the Marchal headlamps when dimmed and better for long distance when bright. They give a beam powerful enough to use maximum speed with every confidence. They possess a serious fault. On bad roads, the dipping reflectors, although not in use, flutter to the dipped position. We have yet to see dipping reflectors that do not flutter on bad roads.
