H300 c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 20th. October 1936. BY.7/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Messrs. Adamant Engineering Co. Ltd., Dallow Road, LUTON. Dear Sirs, 25/30 STEERING - FOLLOWER ROLLERS. With reference to your letter of the 16th inst. on the subject of the balance of rollers which may be left in various stages of manufacture when Messrs. Ransome & Marles take over the production of this item, we are quite prepared to make an amicable settlement for the parts in question. Possibly those which have not been carburised can be salved by Messrs. Ransome & Marles, and for this purpose I would like to have one of the rollers in a rough condition, uncarburised, sent on, so that we can in turn discuss the matter with Messrs. Ransome & Marles. If the latter do not wish to handle any of the partly machined pieces we will then make an arrangement with you ourselves to cover the cost of the actual work done. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. TECHNICAL PRODUCTION ENGINEER. | ||
