To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} BA. c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X3603 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LGT.2.29. SOLEX CARBURETTER. Some time ago you suggested we might get in touch with the Solex carburetter people to supply a carburetter suitable for the Phantom. The result we have been able to obtain is very much better than we expected could be obtained with a simple static carburetter. The throttle can be banged open from 5 m.p.h. and the engine will pick up without hesitation. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
