EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} from Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} Y4617E Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 12/NJ21.4.25. Re Batteries. Yours EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T6.4.25. We are in receipt of a letter from The Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd. dated 20th inst. as follows:- "In reply to your letter of the 7th inst., we "are putting in hand as requested two batteries, one "type 6-RR5-1, and one 6-XL-3-4, for your 40/50 HP. "and 20 HP. chasses respectively, these batteries to "be made up with alternate cells, having triangular "grid bars with their apices facing inwards and "outwards respectively. "There will be no difficulty in making up the "6-RR-5 battery, but as regards the 6-XL-3, we shall "probably have to make a new plate mould, and it will "be some weeks before the samples are available. We "will, however, get them through as soon as possible." Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} | ||
