3. Tappets with improved scheme of lubrication to Sch. 634.
This scheme allows for the oil to drain into the pins which carry the rollers. There have been cases of very rapid wear on 20 h.p. cars which can only be attributed to lack of lubrication.
Noted.

4. Wider dash and louvred bonnet.
The dimensions of the dashboard and bonnet are similar to those which were adopted for the sports car. The radiator, bonnet and dash were approved by Sales on the sports car. There were, however, no louvres fitted on the bonnet of the sports car.
The dimensions of dash and bonnet are approved, except that side hinges of bonnet should be raised 1/2" at rear (dash) end. At present this line is horizontal but appears to slope down from radiator to dash. It is essential to obtain the desired straight run from bonnet to coachwork to raise the rear end, and 1/2" is considered necessary to obtain the effect desired.
Louvres will not be standard and should not be used during 10,000 miles trial.

Bonnet catches.
We consider that the bonnet catches are awkwardly placed and inconvenient to handle. We recommend that we should carry on with the standard bonnet catches until we have had more experience with these new bonnets. Even on a short run to W.W. and back, there are distinct signs of wear on the pad which presses into the sides of the bonnet.
We concur with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}'s remarks. Not considered as good as the old ones which, however, would be better with more area for fingers; also slightly greater length of spring travel.
