This new Unit is being produced by converting one of the existing B.60 Units. Promises are required for the following. EB.4843 Crankshaft. EB.4833 Camshaft. EB.4847/8 Conn.Rod and Caps. Miscellaneous. All Helical Gear Boxes. 3 Overdrive Boxes instructed. 3 Standard Ratio Boxes instructed. The three Overdrive boxes are completed, the three standard ratio boxes, one of the latter is required for 30.G.VII, in connection with 30,000 miles trial. All these boxes are to be completed by mid June. Front Shock Dampers Alum Casings. 1 set of the above is to be fitted to 14.B.V. the Continental Chassis. LK.{L. King} promised to complete same by 8.6.39. Chain Driven Camshaft ECD.534 (BC.15/2) The Crankshaft Pinion and Camshaft Wheel have been returned by the Morse Chain Co. All details are promised to be completed by AG. by 16.6.39. Instructions have been issued to fit to B No.1 Unit. continued. | ||
