Attached report from Ratcliffe. While this
demonstrates that there is obviously no urgency about putting
the washer under the carburetter, we think that the drawing
should be completed, and that we should run them on our
experimental cars and make the changeover as and when
convenient. The reduction in carburetter temperature of
over 10° cannot but be beneficial. Possibly we could bring
in the insulation washer on the second 100 cars.
