ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: C.T.C. Order No. JC110 Customer's No. 83/- Re P & R vents on 40/50HP Batteries I wish to call your attention to the fact that the vent plugs in the 40/50 H.P. batteries are a very slack fit & in a few cases they have even stripped the threads so that the plug will not grip, this has happened in quite new batteries. It is going to be very inconvenient if customers have this trouble because the plugs will jump out & then acid will splash over.
