X 1782 WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CO. LTD., Audrey House, Ely Place, Holborn. Your ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Dnl{Mr Dunwel}6/HP-17.2.20. Our ref. FHD/WW. LONDON. E.C.1. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., 18th Feb. 1920. Nightingale Road, DERBY. X 1782 Re Orders C.M. 825 & C.N. 835 X 2434 Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your favour of the 17th inst., re the above orders, and beg to assure you that we exceedingly regret the delay which has occurred in the delivery of the model 370 Mil-Ammeter and Multiplier question. This has been occasioned by the fact that we have had to wait for delivery of some essential material from our works, but we are pleased to say that we are now anticipating to receive this within the next three weeks, or if possible earlier, and when it comes to hand we shall have no difficulty in despatching the Instrument in the course of a few days later. We can assure you that the matter has not escaped our attention, and that we will do the best we can to forward at an early date. With regard to the Model 163 Testing Set we are again in very much the same position, which in this particular instance has been occasioned by a very exceptional demand for this type of Instrument, which we were quite unable to anticipate. Apologizing for these delays, and hoping that they are not putting you to any very serious inconvenience. Yours truly, For WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CO. LTD. SALES MANAGER.
