Brakes.

Grab - we do not understand what is meant by this.

Squeaks - 8-EX car which is running in France is fitted with new material. Although squeaks have not been eliminated on that car, so far they have been less than we have had on previous cars. We are running now a 40/50 car with a light rear brake drum and a damper similar to that used on the 20 HP.

Engine moan.

In our opinion this should come under engine gear noise.

Thud in engine. We have not experienced this.

Clutch not stopping.

The question of clutch stopping depends very much upon the driver. We know that a clutch adjusted to suit Mr. de Salamanca for instance, would make a car so that it was impossible for the average driver to change gear. We anticipate certain criticisms as regards clutch stopping.

Accelerator pedal.

This is a production trouble.

Rear axle noise.

This is a production trouble.

Steering stiff.

This should be overcome with the new steering.
