Attached hereto is a Fabric Coupling ex Beldam Asbestos Co. Ltd., Hounslow, Middx.

They claim that the sewn edges is an improvement on this type of coupling, as the edge is liable to open with the action of oil and grease, which is prevented when edges are sewn.
