-5- Radiator & Fittings. Centrally mounted wings and radiator scheme as fitted to 5-B-IV for last 10,000 miles test; i.e., LOP. EB.2218, N.Schemes 4235/38/44/65/71/90. N.Schemes 4312/23, R.R.Sch.791, except for following modifications - (a) Radiator and engine support to N.Sch.4542, including LeC.4409/4473/FB.2125 and LeC.4467 headlamp support tube. (b) Radiator matrix to be 52 m.m. thick in Marston Mk.VI matrix, otherwise to EB.2153. This matrix should be fitted to the car, but an alternative one, 58 m.m. thick, (now in stores) should be built up ready to interchange with the above one. Radiator Shutters. Complete to LOP.EB.2219, except that the anti-rattle bearing support scheme instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.4/KW.14.9.35 should be fitted, and a calorstat spring to E.83210 should be fitted to calorstat. Exhaust Fittings. Aluminized standard manifold, front expansion box and downtake pipe. Front intermediate pipe to EB.1503 in 16 S.W.G. material. Standard front silencer except that silencer shell (EB.421) and sleeve EB.1504 are to be in 16 S.W.G. material. Rear intermediate pipe EB.978 in 16 S.W.G. material. Standard rear silencer except that silencer shell (EB.884) and pipes EB.877 and EB.881 are to be in 16-S.W.G. material. Tail pipe EB.1086 to be in 16-S.W.G. material. No exhaust cut-out to be fitted. Otherwise to standard L.O.P. Bonnet. "Flip-flap" type. Bonnet to suit LeC.4409 etc. See radiator section, L.O.P's and schemes. | ||
