1021 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.6/JH. 14th. July, 1941. Fred Connolly Esq., Wandle Bank, Wimbledon, LONDON.S.W.19. Dear Mr. Connolly, Thank you very much for your letter with reference to thin Hides for cars which is very much the reply I expected you to give. I feel sure that very thin hide would be unsatisfactory for squabs and cushions in a car. I have never tried very thin hides for this purpose as I always felt quite sure that they would be unsatisfactory. However, as the suggestion had been made by some of our people that thin hides could be used, I am glad to know that you would support my opinion that they would be unsatisfactory. Thank you for your offer of help. Kindest regards, Yours sincerely, | ||
