We think this is as far as we can go at present, but would appreciate any further suggestions that you would like us to try. Earlier on, while I. Waller had charge of this car, we see from the file that there is a list of car speeds in miles per hour with the corresponding damper control system poundages opposite, taken on I8 G.IV. We note that these are progressive figures, so that at IO MPH, full maximum, the pump should give 15 lbs and then at 70 MPH. give 23 lbs. Actually this does not occur on 22.G.V. The pump gives full maximum pressure at 10 MPH. and does not increase over that figure, this we believe is common practice on the present governor pumps.
