re. 40/50 HP. Sticking Throttles.

Judging by the complaints received from customers, we appear to be having rather more trouble with the above since the fixing of the exhaust heated throttle.

It has been pointed out to us that the throttle valve is inclined to 'Brown up' and stick after running about 150 miles and there is an accumulation of oil in the throttle barrel.

We have recommended that the throttles should be dismantled and cleaned as often as similar attention is given to the air valve of the suction chamber, the throttle being so designed for this to be done quite easily.

We shall be glad if you can arrange for this item to be included in the next edition of the 40/50 HP instruction book, describing it in the same way as the carburetter air valve is now done.
