Dear Sirs, RE EXPERIMENTAL BODIES. (Handwritten: Please note) This is to confirm that we have asked our Works to send a lorry to collect the Bentley "A" Two Door All-weather Coupe on the morning of Tuesday next November 29th. In connection with the instrument board for the Bentley "B" Saloon we left you a drawing of the Speedometer & Tachometer Patch by Jaeger and we understand that you are going to make up a board for the writer to try for knee clearance and visibility. The finisher along the scuttle rail should be cut up at each end after the screen wiper box and at the centre whilst the ash tray should be made as shallow as possible or even left off. The writer would prefer the latter course to be adopted on this body. Will you please let us know when this board is in a fit state for the writer to come and see it. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Ltd. (Handwritten: LID{A. J. Lidsey}) (Stamp: RECEIVED NOV 26 1932) | ||
