To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X200a 4 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KW1.j.6.36. 6-B-1V Specification. Confirming our conversation, E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has asked us if we can arrange to complete 6-B-1V for the 15,000 miles test by the beginning of the Works holiday, Friday July 17th, so that he can use it on the Continent during his Summer holiday. We believe the most difficult piece to get in the time will be the Crankshaft with Packard balance weights. Anxious though we are to get this running on the test, we may have to accept the car without it if it is impossible otherwise to keep to the date in question, but possibly you will let us know when you have been into the question of the machining incurred.
