X.3614. - RE AMERICAN CHASSIS+

With reference to the last suggestion by cable from Mr. Mackenzie that Left Hand Steering should be incorporated, CJ. says that he wishes everything to go ahead as though no further alteration has been suggested, since nothing has been settled and it is quite possible that no further alterations will be made.

With regard to the sugges5ed{J. L. Edwards} Conference in London, Mr. Johnson considers it unnecessary to have a Conference at least before Mr. Olley's arrival. We will therefore carry on with designs etc. incorporating only the three speed box with Central Change and the 2 1/2" Longer Frame as indicated in Rl/G6.12.19.

I attach herewith copy of Rl/G6.12.19. on this matter.
