MERLIN 'F' ENGINE.
Coil Ignition Scheme.

We send you herewith two blueprints of DES.2924 showing the screening of the ignition coil and distributor units fitted to the Merlin engine to DES.2868.

The screening covers consist of aluminium pressings and are generally similar to those already designed for the 'Exe' engine.

The conduit screening of the ignition wiring is also shown, the three main conduits - two exhaust and one inlet - being as already fitted to the standard Merlin engine with magneto ignition.

Will you please detail and instruct for one set of parts to be put in hand for a development engine.

E/FTH.

Att: DES.2924.
