BENTLEY III PETROL CONSUMPTION.

The following cars were used for test and comparison -

All cars fitted with overdrive gearbox.

Average speed runs to compare various jet tube and needle assemblies were made with the cars 7.B.V. and 6.B.IV. The cars were driven one behind the other to Buxton and back (72 miles) at an average speed of approx. 60 M.P.H.

Constant speed tests on 7.B.V. were compared with similar tests carried out on the standard Bentley II 3.B.IV.
