RE LAMP FOR INDIAN ARMOURED CARS.

Replying to your THRL/CB29/4/21, it appears to be necessary to modify the drawing shewing the position of the lamps, in accordance with your N. scheme 857.

The only point that is not exactly as arranged at Dartford is the method of carrying the rear lamp. It was intended that this should be bolted to the side of the armouring in the position indicated in pencil, but it may be that the proposal of putting it on the rear wing may be more acceptable than the armouring position, and therefore I suggest that this drawing should be sent to Major Clifton (not to Messrs. Vickers at present) asking his approval of the scheme as a whole.

Then I think I should get a sample of the dash lamp you speak of, and if it appears to be a possible job, send it to Major Clifton for his approve too.
