at their present rate of progress we shall be ready in about a fortnight. Therefore I can see no prospect of being able to carry out the test before you go to Italy. However, I do not think that this matters very much as long as the car is completed and tested by Aug 20th and there is little doubt that this can be managed. Your other car, which is being fitted with lead bronze big ends, would be better here on Tuesday instead of Monday, it can then be returned Thursday. Monday the works recover from their holidays.
